ALTAR GUILD BEING FORMED

We are forming a new Altar Guild and welcome members interested in serving the Lord through preparations of our Sanctuary, Chapel and other worship areas.  Men, women and youth are welcome to join with those already working.  Call Dr. Janice Buchanan at 867-0886 or see her at church to let the Worship Committee know of your interest in serving.

THE LAST WORD

The worship of the Christian church should be like a party for which God is host and to which everyone is invited.  Worship is the celebration of the good news that man has a sponsor in the universe and a fellowship on earth.  Jesus Christ said as much in the parable of the great feast (Luke 14:15-24; cf. Matt. 22:1-10), and the church at its best has understood Christ himself to be the life of the party.
